A recent survey has shown that women, which includes a lot of moms, have been “carrying” households throughout the pandemic. COVID-19 brought a lot of stress, anxiety and worry to families everywhere, and it was mostly due to the extreme changes that happened as a result of a serious virus. Schools were moved to remote learning, and moms struggled with how to help their child. Women accounted for the majority of the jobs lost, meaning they were now at home and worried about financial income, and it also meant that they were now responsible for the home, apparently.
According to Slice and Newswire, a survey was completed by CIBC, a Canadian banking institution, which found that women have been taking on more of the household responsibilities than men during the pandemic. The responsibilities ranged from childcare to financial business.
